Position Summary:
Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:
+ Work outdoors - perhaps in some extreme climates
+ Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensure hydrovac truck and all equipment are in good working condition
+ Preform pre and post inspections, as well as routine maintenance
+ Must be able to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl repetitively
+ Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
+ HAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confine Space and Rescue, First Aid, training preferred
+ OSHA 10, required within 30 days of hire
+ Assist fellow crew members wherever required to get the job done (may entail manual labor and/or be outside your ticketed trade)
+ Class A CDL preferred, Class B CDL acceptable
+ May work around some hazardous material
+ Hydrovac experience preferred
+ Set up and inspect grounding and/ or bonding procedures for hydrovac operation
+ Personal Protective equipment (PPE) required
+ Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
+ Driver's License required
+ Complete all required paperwork properly and submit on time
