The Applications Design Developer is an established performer who designs and develops front-end interfaces for websites, mobile apps, email campaigns, social campaigns, and other digital media. This role will create visually appealing, intuitive, and efficient applications that enhance user experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
+ Design and develop front-end, easy-to-use interfaces for websites, social media campaigns, email marketing, mobile applications, and presentations, particularly mobile-optimized and/or responsive design.
+ Develop new templates and layout new web page designs in the content management system for the organization’s various web properties.
+ Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
+ Partner with IT and/or vendor partners as necessary on front-end design and delivery to ensure successful handoffs.
+ Proactively search for opportunities to increase web usability to drive incremental conversion events on the websites.
+ Conduct industry research and usability testing to stay current on best practices, competitor user interface designs, and emerging technologies.
+ Assist in the implementation of new content to various digital properties, including consumer-facing websites and customer portals.
+ Collaborate with the team, including creative and content resources, to execute the graphical user interface for new web features and applications.
+ Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
+ 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
+ 2+ years of experience working as a user interaction/interface/experience designer and developer.
+ 2+ years of experience developing responsive websites, proficient in responsive web design best practices.
+ High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite software - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
+ 3 years of experience in developing wireframes and working with any HTML editor (like Dreamweaver), HTML5, Photoshop, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3).
+ Experience in jQuery/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, ASP .Net, Content Management Systems, Web Analytics Experience, and PHP preferred.

+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
+ High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
+ Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
