Seeking a senior and experienced associate in Deal closing and Loan Servicing to be part of our Loan Administration Team. Associate must be able to read and interpret complex loan documentation and be an expert to advanced user of Loan IQ system. Individual is required to understand and work in accordance with internal procedures and facility-specific documentation. The position requires adherence to strict deadlines, from a deal closing and servicing perspective, transaction processing that result in funds movement, external and internal client queries and project completion
As our Senior Deal Closing Associate you will:
+ Responsible for analyzing and understanding complex loan agreements and related documentation
+ Construct deal structures in Loan IQ including amending existing deals in USD and other currencies
+ Possess a detailed and comprehensive understanding of Risk-Free Rates (RFR), market concepts and practices
+ Coordinate with various internal and external teams to ensure timely completion of KYC before deal closings and amendments
+ Assess complex loan restructuring and coordinate trade capture with Trading Team in Loan IQ
+ Settlement of Private Equity type transactions
+ Perform loan servicing for syndicated, participate and bi-lateral deals
+ Review and approve transactions and loan processing, including but not limited to loan funding
+ Review and drive break resolution identified in reconciliations, either for daily or month-end reporting purposes
+ Collaborate with internal and external clients, teams and syndicate bank group members to research and resolve cash and position reconciliation breaks in a timely manner
+ Monitor tax expirations and request expiring tax forms to ensure timely validation
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $90,000.00 and $125,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Qualifications
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
+ Proficient in LIQ usage, including building and amending existing deal structures, and loan administration
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
+ Ability to multitask, manage time and meet deadlines
+ Strong process and operational risk understanding
+ Knowledge of Markit/Clear Par platforms and trade settlement mechanics (delayed compensation); familiarity with LSTA and LMA standards and practices
+ Advanced Excel knowledge
+ 5 years in loan Syndication and servicing of Leverage, Project Finance and Distress loans
+ Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance and or Accounting
