The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for performing business systems analysis and support of company-wide IT business applications. This position will use standard tools, processes, templates, and models to create clear and understandable documentation for Standard Operating Procedures, Problems, Opportunities, Current State, Future State, and Business Specifications. It will help the business with Test Scripts and Testing Procedures. This position will work with cross functional teams to devise and implement solutions and may also be required to document and maintain Application Configurations.
_*This is not a remote role, the ideal candidate will need to be located in Wisconsin, due to this position being on-site and reporting into our Waukesha Headquarters*_
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Associates degree in the field of Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field OR equivalent experience.
+ 3 years of experience providing IT Business Application systems documentation, analysis, and support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Previous experience using Microsoft SQL and Windows Server.
+ Previous project management experience.
+ Previous experience supporting and implementing software applications and administrating systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
+ Work with stakeholders to clearly define the organization’s business requirements, processes, and risks utilizing standard tools, processes, templates, and models.
+ Maintain a positive, productive relationship with the business, Application Administrators, other IT folks, and outside providers by first understanding their perspective.
+ Proactively focus on continuous improvement with the business, reviewing both process and system functionality.
+ Propose modifications and enhancements to improve functionality or address any issues that arise.
+ Work with the business and the Application Administrator to determine optimal application configuration and settings.
+ Provide application maintenance and support to proactively minimize service disruption and facilitate operational efficiency of the assigned applications and/or business steams including the setup of automated workflows and other business process automation.
+ Document and analyze release levels and associated compatibility with currently deployed systems and standards including testing components and systems to see how they integrate with existing systems and applications and if they perform to standards.
+ Work with the business and the Application Administrator to plan the timing of and coordinate upgrades, patches, enhancements, and migration to new systems.
+ Complete Unit Testing to verify systems work as expected.
+ Investigate problems, diagnose root causes, identify problematic trends, and work on resolving them.
+ Other duties as assigned

**Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
