Hunton Distribution, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX (www.huntongroup.com), has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as a Warehouse Associate at our Dixie Farm Rd. location in zip code: 77034. Selected candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the warehouse and store's on-site activities including, managing receipts, stocking and shipping of products, staging and delivering customer orders, and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.

Responsibilities:

+ Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies - HVAC.

+ Stock the parts store with an appropriate amount of merchandise.

+ Assist with inventory control and entering inventory into the software system.

+ Delivers parts, supplies, equipment, and other HVAC related products to customer locations or job sites, as needed.

+ File M/S's, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.

+ File freight claims for damaged goods.

+ Manage receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.

+ Determine inventory levels; identify and dispose of excess and obsolete inventory and maintaining system inventory accuracy.

+ Other duties may be assigned.

Skills Required:

+ Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

+ Must complete an MVR.

+ Must have experience driving a 20' box truck with liftgate

+ Must have good interpersonal and phone skills to communicate and assist inside sales personnel and customers.

+ Load and unload trucks.

+ Pull and put away equipment on pallets or boxes using a forklift.

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Education and/or Experience Required:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ 1 - 3 years of proven forklift experience.

+ 1+ years of experience driving a 20' box truck with liftgate.
