Are you an experienced litigation paralegal with a passion for supporting personal injury cases? Robert Half Legal is seeking a skilled Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal for a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity with a boutique law firm located in Encino, California. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.

+ Conduct legal and factual research related to personal injury claims.

+ Manage case files from inception through trial, including calendaring deadlines and organizing case documents.

+ Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, trial binders, subpoenas, and evidence summaries.

+ Obtain and analyze medical records, police reports, and other case-critical documentation.

+ Manage client communications, including intake and providing case status updates, maintaining a high level of professionalism.

+ Handle e-filing in state and federal courts.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in plaintiff-side personal injury law.

+ Proficiency in legal software such as Clio, ProLaw, or similar case management systems.

+ Strong knowledge of California Rules of Civil Procedure and filing procedures in Los Angeles County courts.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Highly organized and able to prioritize a busy workload with strict deadlines.

+ Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred.
