Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to contribute to the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves collaborating across departments, analyzing business data, and supporting external audits while maintaining accurate and detailed documentation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, technical research, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Analyze financial data provided by business units to confirm compliance with U.S. accounting standards.

• Coordinate reporting functions such as disclosures, footnotes, and technical research, while working closely with external auditors during reviews and audits.

• Conduct benchmarking and peer comparisons to enhance reporting accuracy and alignment with industry standards.

• Manage the tagging of financial statements and disclosures for regulatory filing purposes.

• Assist in preparing annual goodwill analyses, debt filings, and rating agency materials.

• Collaborate with departments like Treasury, Tax, and Financial Planning & Analysis to support reporting activities.

• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance by working with internal teams to meet control guidelines and update process documentation.

• Participate in special projects, including process improvements and revisions to reporting structures.

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• CPA or similar certification is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a large public accounting firm.

• Familiarity with financial reporting principles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
