    Purchasing Clerk (Hotel Experience Preferred)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Clerk with experience in the hospitality industry to support our hotel’s procurement operations. This role is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and tracking supplies, ensuring that hotel departments have the materials needed for smooth daily operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process purchase orders for food, beverages, housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments

    + Communicate with hotel vendors to confirm pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules

    + Maintain inventory levels by tracking stock and conducting regular counts

    + Receive and inspect goods to ensure quality and accuracy against orders

    + Collaborate with department heads to forecast needs and manage budgets

    + Resolve discrepancies with orders and coordinate returns or replacements when necessary

    + Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records using property management or procurement systems

    + Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and brand standards

    Requirements

    + 1–2 years of purchasing or inventory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment

    + Familiarity with hotel purchasing systems (e.g., BirchStreet, Oracle Hospitality, or similar)

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills

    + Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
