Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Wayne, New Jersey. In this contract role to perm role, you will play an essential part in managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting financial processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization within the printing and publishing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare customer invoices with precision, verifying all data for accuracy.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records to facilitate seamless financial operations.

• Collaborate with other departments to address billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Prepare reports and summaries related to billing activities for management review.

• Support occasional overtime requirements to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.

• Handle complex billing tasks for experienced-level responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance billing efficiency.

• Assist in payment processing and reconciliation to ensure timely transactions.

• Provide training or guidance to entry-level staff on billing procedures and office protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in billing or office-related accounting tasks, with a minimum of 1 year.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage spreadsheets effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while addressing billing challenges.

• Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet project requirements.

• Knowledge of the printing and publishing industry is a plus but not mandatory.
