Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Associate to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a non-profit organization by providing administrative and project support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, ensuring all participants are informed and prepared.
• Organize and assist in planning events, handling logistics and communication needs.
• Record and distribute accurate meeting minutes to relevant stakeholders.
• Draft and edit correspondence on behalf of the Vice President for Finance & Administration.
• Respond to public inquiries professionally, or route them to appropriate staff members.
• Provide backup support for Finance & Administration staff, such as processing bank deposits.
• Handle data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Support team members with various administrative duties as assigned to facilitate daily operations. Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in administrative or project support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong skills in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
• Experience handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.
• Ability to draft clear and concise email correspondence.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
