    Description

    Robert Half has partnered with a dynamic client on their search for a Staff Accountant. The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of performing ongoing bookkeeping, auditing and payroll duties as well as prepare annual individual and business tax returns. The ideal candidate for this role should have possess great day-to-day accounting abilities in compliance with legal industry standards and firm policies. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, and can maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the overall financial health of the firm.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

    + Perform detailed bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

    + Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries as needed.

    + Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure financial statements are complete and accurate.

    + Prepare individual and business tax returns, adhering to relevant regulations and deadlines.

    + Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with financial standards.

    + Utilize QuickBooks to manage and streamline accounting processes.

    + Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to address client needs and meet project deadlines.

    Requirements

    The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

    Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:

    + 1+ years accounting experience

    + Experience with multiple entities/client preferred

    + QuickBooks experience preferred

    + Advanced Microsoft Excel

    + Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

    + Proven ability to perform under deadlines, to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
