Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented fully remote HR Assistant to support essential HR functions and IT-related processes in our organization. This is a contract position to cover while the firm recruits on their own for this position. The role involves a variety of administrative and coordination tasks aimed at ensuring smooth HR and IT workflows. The ideal candidate will be able to commit 4-6 weeks and will be familiar with a MAC computer and should know Bamboo and UKG.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage routine HR and IT processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain and update employee data in HR systems such as BambooHR, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Conduct background checks and manage necessary documentation as part of the hiring process.
• Coordinate benefits administration, including responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues.
• Assist in revising and implementing HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
• Address employee and vendor questions, providing guidance and solutions based on company policies.
• Handle IT-related tasks, including laptop procurement, troubleshooting, and system access management.
• Draft and distribute official company communications as needed.
• Organize and maintain personnel files, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Support the preparation of mandatory compliance reports and other HR-related documentation.
Requirements • At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR assistant role.
• Familiarity with HR software such as BambooHR or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for Google Suite experience.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid environment is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. TalentMatch®
