Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in Merchantville, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting various accounting functions. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team while utilizing your skills in QuickBooks Online and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper data entry in QuickBooks Online.

• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing necessary reports.

• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.

• Generate detailed financial reports to support decision-making and audits.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance standards.

• Ability to handle month-end close activities and generate financial reports.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
