Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and success of our accounts receivable operations.
Responsibilities:
• Process and apply cash payments accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Investigate and resolve chargebacks by issuing credits and ensuring proper documentation.
• Manage aged receivables to reduce backlog and improve account reconciliation processes.
• Monitor and process receivables, including receiving payments and applying them to appropriate accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance accounts receivable systems and workflows.
• Utilize accounting software systems to track, analyze, and report financial data.
• Ensure compliance with billing and cash handling procedures to maintain financial integrity.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to streamline operations.
• Generate detailed reports on receivables activity and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
• Maintain strong communication with clients to address payment issues and sustain positive relationships. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP and CRM platforms.
• Strong understanding of cash applications, chargebacks, and receivables processing.
• Ability to manage aged receivables and implement effective reconciliation strategies.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and billing functions.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to handle complex financial data.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Knowledge of Epic Software or similar accounting tools is highly desirable.
