Description

We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing to ensure accurate financial records.

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking outstanding balances and payments.

• Handle inbound inquiries related to billing and collections with attention to detail.

• Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools to maintain and update financial data.

• Administer claims and coordinate with relevant departments to address payment issues.

• Implement effective collection strategies to recover unpaid balances.

• Prepare detailed reports on accounts receivable status and collection activities.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve payment disputes.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations related to collections.

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and CRM platforms.

• Experience with accounts receivable, billing, and collection processes.

• Strong communication skills for handling inbound calls and resolving disputes.

• Familiarity with claim administration and financial services tools like ADP.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Previous experience in a similar collections or accounts receivable role preferred.
