    Description

    Robert Half is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's team in the Greater Philadelphia area. In this Staff Accountant role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This Staff Accountant position offers an excellent opportunity for a meticulous individual to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Support the monthly close process by posting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

    + Compile necessary schedules and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits.

    + Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting details.

    + Assist in developing the annual budget by gathering data and preparing financial projections.

    + Manage ad hoc data requests and participate in special projects as assigned.

    + Perform other duties as required, including providing analytical support for financial decision-making.

    Requirements

    The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.

    Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:

    + 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

    + Experience with SAP preferred

    + Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

    + Proven ability to perform under deadlines, to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
