    Position: Staff Accountant

     

    Our client is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its expanding team of accounting professionals. This role is pivotal in managing financial records and conducting balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities across the organization. The successful candidate will possess a proactive attitude, demonstrate enthusiasm for learning, and bring a solutions-driven approach to process improvement while collaborating effectively across departments.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Take ownership of monthly and quarterly close processes, actively contributing to balance sheet reconciliations.

    + Handle necessary banking duties.

    + Execute essential accounting tasks, including journal entries, payments, and other day to day requirements.

    + Provide ad-hoc financial reports to support the needs of our departments.

    + Work with external parties, including, but not limited to, vendors and auditors.

    + Assist in crafting cash flows.

    Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 1+ years of experience in accounting.

    + Progression toward or possession of an active CPA license.

    + Familiarity with technical accounting principles and the consolidation of intercompany transactions is a plus.

    + Competence using ERP systems.

    + Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

    + Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
