Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will handle essential financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of payment processing. This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented professionals with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to vendors.

• Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

• Manage check runs and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

• Verify and code invoices in compliance with company policies.

• Perform data entry of financial information into accounting systems.

• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle for daily operations.

• Monitor accounts payable aging reports to identify overdue payments.

• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records for auditing and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle and/or SAP.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and coding procedures.

• Ability to perform accurate account reconciliation.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
