Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Encino, California. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate tax filings, analyzing financial data, and advising clients on tax strategies to optimize their financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of tax regulations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for both individuals and businesses with accuracy and efficiency.

• Review financial documents, including income statements and balance sheets, to determine tax obligations.

• Provide strategic financial planning advice to clients aimed at minimizing tax liabilities.

• Conduct detailed analyses to identify potential deductions and tax credits.

• Stay informed on current tax laws, regulations, and financial practices to ensure compliance.

• Assist clients in understanding their tax responsibilities and offer actionable recommendations for future planning.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Lacerte to streamline tax preparation processes.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all financial reporting meets regulatory standards. Requirements • At least 3 years of proven experience in tax preparation or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and general ledger accounting.

• Proficiency in accounting platforms such as QuickBooks and Lacerte.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines.

• Background in public accounting and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
