    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida in our corporate office in Coral Gables. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong accounting background to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.

    • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger accounts.

    • Assist in month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

    • Allocate expenses, manage amortizations, and oversee capital expenditure tracking.

    • Support budgeting and forecasting activities to aid in financial planning.

    • Utilize Yardi Voyager software for accounting tasks and reporting.

    • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, demonstrating attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

    • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

    • Experience with journal entries and month-end close procedures.

    • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Yardi Voyager.

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. English and Spanish a MUST.
