JOB SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for direct and indirect patient care throughout the nursing process. In this role, the RN will work in the Urgent Care clinic, where they will help assess and treat patients for acute needs including coughs, fevers, minor burns, minor lacerations, minor allergic reactions, etc. In this role, the RN will be responsible for assessing upon intake, documentation of patient visits, and aiding in discharge planning and education.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

+ Associate degree in Nursing required

+ Valid State of Maine RN license

+ BLS/ACLS certification required

EXPERIENCE

+ At least 1-year previous experience in an acute setting preferred

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

+ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required

+ Excellent analytical skills

+ Comfort with computer programs

+ Organized and detail-oriented

+ Ability to handle multiple priorities at once and manage stress appropriately
