    About the Role

     

    We’re looking for a skilled and dependable **Maintenance Technician** to join our dedicated team at a 120-unit residential community in Barre, Vermont.     Key Responsibilities

    As part of our maintenance team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our community safe, clean, and well-maintained. Your duties will include:

     

    + Responding promptly to daily work orders and maintenance requests

    + Supporting unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, and general repairs

    + Maintaining the grounds and handling seasonal tasks, including snow removal

    + Picking up supplies from local vendors for the on-site resident food pantry

    + Staying connected with the team via the Yardi mobile app

    + Participating in the emergency on-call rotation

    Work Schedule

    + **Standard Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

    + **Summer Hours:** ??- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM??- Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

    What You Bring

    + A strong customer service mindset and clear communication skills

    + Hands-on experience in apartment maintenance and repairs

    + Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, custodial, and HVAC systems

    + Familiarity with work order software (Yardi preferred)

    + A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

    **Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
