    Mechanical Engineer:

    As an MRB (Material Review Board) Engineer at my client, you will be responsible for evaluating and resolving non-conformances in aerospace fastener products and manufacturing processes. Your role will ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications, while minimizing disruption to production and delivery timelines. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain the highest levels of quality, reliability, and efficiency within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Non-Conformance Analysis:

    + Review, analyze, and disposition non-conformance reports (NCRs) related to aerospace fastener products and manufacturing processes.

    + Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and develop corrective/preventive actions.

    + Work with quality, manufacturing, and design teams to resolve discrepancies effectively.

    + Engineering Support:

    + Ensure all MRB dispositions comply with engineering requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.

    + Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams for rework, repair, or acceptance of non-conforming materials.

    + Collaborate with design engineering teams to evaluate potential design or process improvements based on MRB trends.

    + Documentation and Compliance:

    + Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of MRB activities, including Non-Conformance dispositions, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.

    + Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards such as AS9100, FAA, and NADCAP.

    + Assist in audits and inspections related to MRB processes and documentation.

    + Process Improvement:

    + Identify trends and recurring issues from non-conformance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce non-conformances.

    + Develop and refine MRB processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    + Customer and Supplier Interaction:

    + Communicate with customers regarding non-conformance issues and proposed resolutions.

    + Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.

    + Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate policies and procedures.

    + Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.

    + Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

    + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and familiarity with GD&T standards.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

    + Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, FAA, NADCAP).

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    + Familiarity with aerospace fastener design and manufacturing processes.

    + Experience with developing and maintaining a PLM system.

    + Experience navigating an ERP/MRP system.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    + Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

    + Detail-oriented and driven by quality and operational excellence.

    + Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    + Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

    **Pay Details:** $100,000.00 per year
