**VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital** is hiring a **Licensed Veterinary Technician to** join our newly renovated hospital!
VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital has been a trusted part of the Chamblee and Brookhaven communities, offering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care in a collaborative and welcoming environment. Our AAHA-accredited hospital provides wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostic services in a **newly renovated facility** equipped with modern technology and a dedicated team of veterinary professionals.
We are looking for a **Veterinary Technician** who is ready to take their skills to the next level, contribute to a positive culture, and deliver exceptional care to pets and their families.
About the Role
Whether you are a Licensed Veterinary Technician or recent Veterinary Technician graduate, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
+ Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.
+ Venipuncture and IVC placement
+ Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
+ Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.
+ Recognize subtle change in clinical status.
+ Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.
+ Complete estimates, basic record keeping.
+ Surgical preparation and assisting.
+ Anesthesia monitoring.
+ Dentistry and dental radiographs.
**Schedule** : 4 x10 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.
**Compensation:** Pay range is based on relevant education, licensure (vet tech license required), skills, and experience.
