Role Summary
Red Hat’s Business Value Practice is looking for a Global Value Lead - Emerging Solutions and Industry Verticals based in North America. In this role, you will work closely with C-level executives, industry teams, and marketing leaders to craft compelling value-driven narratives, participate in high-profile executive events, and develop frameworks that quantify the impact of innovation using emerging Red Hat technologies such as AI, Virtualization, and Automation across industries.
You will be instrumental in guiding customers on how emerging technologies contribute to competitive differentiation, cost optimization, and business agility. Your success will help strengthen our position as a strategic partner and shape the way our sales and marketing teams engage with executives across industries, resulting in incremental revenue growth and pipeline expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Executive Engagement, Thought Leadership & Customer Advocacy
+ Lead high-impact value discussions on active deals with C-level executives, quantifying business outcomes and defining value of transformation roadmaps.
+ Develop C-level account strategies, including value maps, ROI justifications to accelerate decision-making.
+ Co-create vertical-specific business value models and case studies with industry teams to showcase real-world customer impact.
+ Represent the company at executive roundtables, conferences, and industry forums to elevate our business value and thought leadership.
+ Publish thought leadership content, including blogs, whitepapers, and case studies on business value of AI, virtualization and automation.
+ Engage directly with senior customer stakeholders, including IT and business leaders, enabling long-term strategic relationships and become a trusted partner
2. Pipeline Growth, Revenue Acceleration & Go-to-Market Collaboration
+ Drive pipeline generation for Red Hat emerging technology areas by proactively identifying opportunities using data-driven methods. Lead pipeline generation workshops with customers to uncover new use cases, partnerships, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
+ Engage on high-profile revenue opportunities in collaboration with regional Business Value teams to create customer references and sales plays.
+ Partner with marketing to shape executive event narratives, develop thought leadership content, and showcase customer success stories. Organize and deliver high-impact events and workshops, in collaboration with marketing, to drive awareness and engagement in AI, virtualization, and automation.
+ Work closely with sales and industry teams to ensure value conversations align with market trends and customer challenges. Support regional and global business value initiatives, ensuring consistency in messaging and execution across strategic accounts and verticals.
+ Create continuous feedback loops with cross-functional teams in product, services, and sales to refine and incubate new business value messages in go-to-market strategies.
3. Scale Business Value Frameworks & Industry GTM Methodologies
+ Develop and refine financial models, ROI/TCO assessments, and business value frameworks to quantify the benefits of Red Hat’s emerging technology portfolio.
+ Create a globally consistent deliverables list & process for industries (designing industry pursuit/play/reference architecture, unified sales motions for play deployment in the field, content creation/marketing/enablement)
+ Create a library of globally reusable assets, including benchmarking tools, business case templates, and industry-specific value propositions.
+ Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and finance leaders to enhance value-driven customer engagement strategies.
+ Capture and document customer challenges with adoption and value realization to inform future product development.
Qualifications & Experience
+ 15+ years of experience in Value Advisory, Value Engineering, Management Consulting, or Strategy roles with a focus on emerging technologies.
+ Proven expertise in ROI/TCO financial modeling, business case development, and economic impact assessments.
+ Deep understanding of AI, virtualization, hybrid cloud, automation, and platform engineering and their role in enterprise digital transformation. Knowledge of Red Hat technologies is an added advantage.
+ Experience working with C-level executives and driving strategic business conversations.
+ Strong executive storytelling, communication, and presentation skills to articulate complex concepts in a compelling way.
+ Experience in collaborating with sales, marketing, and industry teams to drive business value-focused engagements.
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $350,200.00 - $595,200.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
