    As a Contracts Lead, you will handle all facets of contract formation and contract management including drafting, interpretation, negotiation, contract review, and administration of complex customer agreements. You will ensure that final contractual documents drive growth and include all deal parameters approved in accordance with respective approval processes and Honeywell business is conducted with the highest ethical standards, internal company policies, and local and international laws. You will also be responsible for helping design and enforce commercial contract policies and processes and serve as a focal for training on contract processes, policies, and systems.

     

    You will report directly to our General Counsel, AIS and you’ll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ, Charlotte, NC or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact Honeywell's contract management function and overall business operations. By effectively managing and overseeing the execution of contracts, this role will ensure that Honeywell operates in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and protecting the company's interests.

    This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Handle all facets of contract formation and contract management.

    + Draft, interpret, and negotiate complex customer agreements.

    + Review and administer contracts in accordance with company policies and laws.

    + Advise and develop strategy for contract process and policy.

    + Advise, enforce, and train business team members on contract processes, policies, and systems.

     

    In October 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 6+ years of experience managing/negotiating contracts.

    + Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
