We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our team at our Port Manatee facility. You will be responsible for analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and proposing improvements to our procedures. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, and Procurement, to ensure alignment with design requirements and optimize manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies for quality coordination, testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
+ Develop and revise procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
+ Provide guidance and training to staff on new and revised procedures.
+ Maintain documentation of procedures and ensure accessibility to relevant stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with Engineering to align methods with design requirements and vice versa.
+ Interact with Production to impact work processes positively and ensure a quality product.
+ Work closely with Procurement and Receiving to maintain accurate logs and reporting of materials.
+ Utilize Microsoft Access and Excel extensively for data analysis, creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and providing visibility into current non-conforming products.
+ Customize worksheets and database functionalities using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
+ Test current products and identify deficiencies
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
+ Analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
+ Ensure adherence to established quality control procedures and regulatory requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Some experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
+ Experience within a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

+ Experience compiling manufacturing data reports

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
+ Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for customizing worksheets and database functionalities.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Familiarity with quality management systems and procedures.
