    Use your wireless/RF technical expertise as a team leader to analyze and develop wireless telecommunications capabilities within Honeywell ________________________________. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will bring value to Honeywell's products and services by enhancing telecommunication networks, systems and equipment. You will rely on your extensive experience and judgment to effectively and efficiently plan and execute projects to meet customer requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design and build custom applications

    + Develop network technology

    + Maintain systems and equipment

    + Monitor and analyze statistical data

    + Validate RF link performance, quality and reliability

    + Mentor lower level engineers

    + Act as technical consultant

    + Manage projects

    + Interface with customers

     
     

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

    KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

    + Primarily responsible for specifying, designing, developing and supporting RF systems which can include Radar and EW electronics.

    + Products operate from 1 GHz to 100 GHz and over a wide range of power levels.

    + Products are designed for commercial, science and military applications on a wide range of platforms including ground stations and vehicles, marine craft, aircraft, satellites and other spacecraft.

    + Activities entail a mix of design, simulation and hands-on lab work; supporting business development activities including proposals and customer interfacing; providing regular project schedule and cost updates.

    + Some domestic and international travel required, typically less than 2 weeks per year.

     

    The candidate must have or have the ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret/Top Secret).

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

    WE VALUE

    + Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems

    + Knowledge of wireless encryption technologies

    + Understanding of wireless project requirements

    + Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events

    + Can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

    + Radio Frequency (RF) Survey experience

    + Wide degree of creativity and latitude

    + Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

    + Master's degree
