    As a Lead Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the next generation avionics industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate. Your expertise in model-based systems engineering, integration and test on target hardware, and developing graphical applications for avionics displays will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.

     

    You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact the aviation industry by designing and implementing state-of-the-art avionics systems. You will be responsible for model-based systems engineering, integration and test on target hardware, and developing graphical applications for avionics displays that enhance the functionality and performance of our products.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Lead the design and implementation of complex avionics systems

    + Perform model-based systems engineering to ensure system requirements are met

    + Develop High Level and Low Level Requirements

    + Conduct integration and test activities on target hardware

    + Develop graphical applications for avionics displays to enhance user experience

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components

     
     

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

    + 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership

    + Model-Based development for critical embedded software

    + Ability to integration and test on target hardware

    + Familiarity with graphical applications for avionics displays

    WE VALUE

    + Avionics industry experience

    + ARINC 661 user application design

    + SCADE model-based systems engineering for embedded software

    + DO-178C safety critical applications

    + Experience in software integration and test on target hardware

    + Proficiency in developing graphical applications for avionics displays

    + Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability
