As a **Materials Management Analyst II** here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the flow of materials within our supply chain. You will be responsible for analyzing and managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production and customer demand. Your expertise in materials management will be essential in maintaining an efficient supply chain and meeting customer expectations.
You will report directly to our **Materials Management Manager,** and you'll work out of our **Columbus, OH** location. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the company's operations and customer satisfaction. Your ability to effectively manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our supply chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Analyze and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
+ Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
+ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency of materials management processes.
+ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize materials management processes and reduce costs.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 2+ years of experience in materials management or supply chain management.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in using materials management software and tools.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
