Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to execute inspection activities during receiving and assembly. The role involves reading and interpreting design, manufacturing, and assembly documentation, accepting or rejecting components, assemblies, and shop orders based on inspection results, and creating non-conformance case reports. The Quality Technician will also monitor tool calibration status and assist in quality data analysis and report writing.

Responsibilities

+ Execute inspection activities during receiving and assembly.

+ Read and interpret design, manufacturing, and assembly documentation.

+ Accept or reject components, assemblies, and shop orders based on comparison of inspection results with the design record.

+ Create non-conformance case reports, communicate them appropriately, and monitor non-conformances to resolution.

+ Monitor tool calibration status and highlight deficiencies.

+ Assist in quality data analysis.

+ Assist in writing and submitting inspection reports.

Essential Skills

+ Blueprint reading

+ Quality inspection

+ Using calipers

+ CMM operation

+ Micrometer usage

+ Quality control

+ Quality Technician experience

+ Using MRP systems

+ Knowledge of Bills of Material

+ Non-conformance systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ Years of Quality Technician experience

+ 6+ months of experience in reading and interpreting prints, and using measurement equipment in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment

+ Experience using precision measuring equipment such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
