We are seeking a dedicated Cell Culture Technician to carry out cardiac differentiation on various iPS cell lines. The role requires strict adherence to established protocols and meticulous record-keeping. You will be involved in seeding cardiomyocytes into proprietary scaffolds, conducting lab tests using specialized instruments, and performing lab maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Perform cardiac differentiation on iPS cell lines, adhering to protocols and maintaining detailed records.
+ Seed cardiomyocytes into proprietary scaffolds, following protocols and keeping meticulous records.
+ Conduct lab testing using proprietary instruments, ensuring adherence to protocols and precise documentation.
+ Perform lab maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Proven track record of sterile lab techniques with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
+ Specific experience in cardiac differentiation of iPSC lines is advantageous.
+ Demonstrated ability to follow complex lab protocols accurately and maintain detailed records.
+ Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
+ Reliability and commitment to high-quality work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in cell culture, cell biology, biomedical techniques, HPLC, chemistry, biology, bioreactors, iPSC technology, cardiac processes, aseptic techniques, reagent preparation, assays, PCR, laboratory practices, and quality control.
+ Experience with mammalian and primary cell culture.
Work Environment
This position offers a structured work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 7 hours per day, and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 4.25 hours per day. Weekend and holiday hours are mandatory, but alternative weekdays can be arranged. The salary is commensurate with experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
