Can you give an example of how you handled a situation where there was a miscommunication or misunderstanding? 5. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: o Describe a time when you encountered a significant roadblock during a migration project. How did you address the issue, and what was the outcome? Job Description: Job Title: Cell Therapy SAP Sourcing Migration Specialist Onsite role Site Location: Devens MA Work Schedule: Mon - Fri Flexibility with work hours key as this role does support both east and west coast teams Purpose and Scope of the Position: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced contractor to support the Direct Materials Sourcing initiatives and the implementation of a new ERP system SAP at multiple BMS sites. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful migration from Oracle to SAP focusing on transactional procurement data and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP sourcing and SAP migrations along with a strong attention to detail and time management skills. This role will report to the Devens Associate Director Cell Therapy Site Procurement Lead and can be based at one of the BMS Cell Therapy Facilities support for both East and West Coast Time Zones is required. Duties and Responsibilities: - Business Process Transactional Lead: Serve as the transactional Sourcing Process Data Lead and SAP Subject Matter Expert and drive best-in-class business processes and acumen for successful ERP implementation. - Consulting and Escalation Support: Act as the SAP Procurement and ASL Champion providing consulting and escalation support. - Training: Train Site Procurement Teams and Stakeholders on SAP Procurement activities to ensure accurate execution of Procurement processes. - Program Sessions: Attend all Project program sessions as transactional Subject Matter Expert. Ensure all Procurement timelines and milestones are met. - Consistency in Processes: Ensure consistent site and global transactional ways of working through the entire migration process for all Procurement related activities. - Data Migration Support: Provide transactional support in reviewing data from one ERP System to the other. Ensure data compliance and accuracy between both systems and remediate any discrepancies that are found. - Procurement Data Ownership: Ensure consistent alignment on sourcing strategy including lead times pricing vendor IDs UPOM AUOM etc. - DCT Verification and Validation: Create validate and support Site Procurement Data Files DCTs e.g. alternate unit of measure Lead times pricing purchasing standards Contracts Purchasing Information Records Source List etc. in support of simulated to Production data Loads. - Data Testing: Complete all required user acceptance testing for data migration with a focus on the SAP Approved Supplier Lists Outline Agreements Source Lists and Purchasing Info Records. - Cutover Planning and Post Go-Live Support: Support all cutover planning from Oracle to SAP and all post go-live activities. - Vendor Setup: Manage vendor setup from one ERP System to another ERP Systems i.e. Oracle to SAP. - Dual Sourcing Setup: When applicable update and maintain the material dual sourcing strategy and Vendor Maintenance. - Approved Supplier List and Material Qualification Support: Provide support for Approved Supplier List DCTs material qualification and transaction updates in the ASL. Education: o Bachelors Degree required Experience: o Minimum 3 -5 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience. o Experience with direct procurement preferred. o Preferred experience in a technical operational or business role within the relevant industry. o Prior cGMP experience in biopharmaceuticals pharmaceuticals and/or medical device industry is highly preferred. o Experience in SAP implementation and deployment in Procurement Supply Planning is highly preferred. o Strong Proficiency with SAP and/or other ERP systems is preferred. o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel. Experience using Infinity desired. o Demonstrated independence with minimal supervision from senior management. o Relevant industry certifications CPM/CPSM/CSCP/CPIM are preferred. o Ability to work cross-functionally as a critical member of Project Team. o Exceptional communication skills able to communicate at multiple levels within the company. o Proactive creative and analytic approach to continuous improvement in procurement services. o Demonstrated high degree of independence requiring minimal supervision from senior management. Notes from Intake Call: Extensive SAP Expertise: o Deep Knowledge of SAP Modules: Proficiency in SAP sourcing and procurement modules (such as SAP Ariba, SAP MM, and SAP S/4HANA) is essential. o The candidate should have hands-on experience with data migration, system configuration, and integration within the SAP ecosystem. o Technical Skills: Strong technical skills to manage data mapping, validation, and troubleshooting during the migration process. 2. Project Management Experience: o Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in leading complex migration projects, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries. The candidate should be adept at managing timelines, resources, and budgets. o Methodologies: Familiarity with project management methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and tools (like MS Project, JIRA, or Trello) to ensure efficient project execution. 3. Industry Knowledge: o Cell Therapy and Biopharma Understanding: In-depth knowledge of the cell therapy and biopharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, supply chain complexities, and sourcing challenges specific to this field. 4. Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: o Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, business users, vendors, and senior management. The candidate should be able to translate technical details into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. o Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment towards project goals. 5. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: o Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address issues that arise during the migration process. The candidate should be able to think critically and develop effective solutions. o Flexibility: Adaptability to handle changing project requirements and unexpected challenges, ensuring the project stays on track. These must-haves ensure that the candidate is well-equipped to handle the technical, managerial, and industry-specific demands of the Cell Therapy SAP Sourcing Migration Lead role.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $71.00 - $71.00/hr.
