    Construction Project EngineerJob Description

     

    Located in Lebanon, IN- We are seeking two dedicated project engineers to join a dynamic team working on the Lilly Lebanon LEAP Project. This position involves contributing to the development of a small molecule building within a larger complex that focuses on molecular therapies research and development. The facility aims to transform molecules into tools for combating diseases. Initially scoped at $290 million, the project has gained an additional $200 million in funding and is expected to be completed by 2027.

    Responsibilities

    + Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.

    + Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to prevent delays.

    + Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records.

    + Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

    + Assist in managing change orders, controlling costs, and tracking financial aspects of the project.

    + Participate in site inspections and provide updates on construction activities.

    + Support the Sr Project Manager in project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.

    Essential Skills

    + Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

    + Minimum of 1+ years of experience in construction project management or assistant project management.

    + Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with construction management software, RFI, and change order management.

    + CAD experience and estimation skills.

    + 1 year of co-op experience preferred over an internship.

    + 1 year of on-site job experience is ideal.

    Work Environment

    The position currently requires working five days a week, with plans to expand to six days, totaling up to 58-60 hours per week. Employees will benefit from guaranteed overtime. This opportunity offers the chance to work on one of Indiana's most prestigious and largest projects, with the potential to be hired by one of Indiana's top general contractors.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
