Job Title: Physical TherapistJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team, where you will conduct comprehensive evaluations and establish treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Your role will involve administering manual therapy and therapeutic interventions, educating patients on treatment plans, and monitoring progress to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

+ Perform comprehensive evaluations to establish treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, completed on the same day as the evaluation.

+ Advise patients on additional services and treatments available at the clinic when appropriate.

+ Administer manual therapy and therapeutic interventions to alleviate pain, restore function, and maximize physical performance.

+ Educate, counsel, and supervise patients on treatment plans, including equipment use and adherence to home exercise programs.

+ Monitor and document patient progress, providing updates to the care team and adapting treatment plans as necessary.

+ Complete weekly SOAP notes, two-week progress reports, and discharge summaries on the same day of discharge.

+ Create and disseminate personalized home exercise programs that align with treatment goals.

+ Regularly update medical timelines and patient plan of care cards.

+ Review and interpret patient blood work and MRI scans, collaborating with the care team to determine next steps.

+ Instruct and manage Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians in all phases of physical therapy care.

+ Facilitate daily updates to patient plans of care and oversee research meeting coordination.

+ Participate in plan of care meetings, clinician staff meetings, and research discussions.

+ Monitor potential for additional therapies and treatments that would benefit the patient.

+ Attend continuing education courses and provide in-service training sessions to share knowledge with the team.

+ Conduct research on new products, treatments, and advancements in physical therapy, writing two research articles per month.

+ Perform weekly research and create posts.

+ Execute clinician meetings and maintain patient plans of care in the system and cards.

+ Execute staff clinician schedules and check in with patients via phone calls to assess progress and address concerns.

+ Write and send detailed progress updates to assigned medical doctors, engaging in discussions to optimize patient care.

+ Assist with general tidying and organizational duties to maintain a professional clinic environment.

+ Prevent any conflict of interest with your personal online business with that of the clinic.

Essential Skills

+ Physical therapy expertise, including manual therapy and therapeutic interventions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.

+ Physical Therapy License.

+ 1-3 years' experience working as a physical therapist, particularly in creating home exercise plans and healthcare.

+ Experience in reviewing and interpreting medical diagnostics, such as blood work and MRI scans.

Work Environment

The work schedule as a keyholder includes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 am to 6:30/7 pm, with closing duties. Early Tuesday hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, with an hour lunch break, and Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm, based on business needs and emergencies. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
