    As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Blauvelt, NY.

     

    • Location: Blauvelt, NY

    • Salary: $115,000 – $150,000

    • Job Description

     

    As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Production Engineering and Quality Department. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will supervise a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain essential KPIs to support the company’s strategic goals.

    + Proven Engineering Leadership: 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality Engineering, with a strong track record of managing and developing high-performing engineering and QA teams.

    + Expertise in Industry Standards: Deep knowledge of ASME Sections VIII and IX, along with hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, internal audits, and quality systems.

    + Process Improvement Mindset: Demonstrated success in driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs, with familiarity in Six Sigma methodologies.

    • Responsibilities

    + Oversee daily operations of the Quality Assurance & Production Engineering staff.

    + Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and forms in line with industry standards.

    + Lead resolution of non-conformance issues, including material rejections and corrective actions.

    + Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement, including internal audits and regulatory compliance.

    + Manage the M.T.E. calibration program to ensure measurement accuracy.

    + Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations for engineering and QA staff.

    + Collaborate with New Product Development teams to ensure DFM, DFA, DFS compliance.

    + Support supplier onboarding and quality assurance through FAI and PPAP processes.

    •️ Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a technical field.

    + 10+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance.

    + Proficiency with ERP systems.

    + Knowledge of ASME Sections VIII and IX.

    + Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma is a plus.

    + Experience leading and developing engineering and QA teams.

    + Willingness to travel up to 20% (locations include TX, MA, NH, MO, NC, OH & FL).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $72.12/hr.
