    Electrical Engineer – PLC Programming & Industrial Systems

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PLC programming, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance strategies. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant operations through hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • PLC Programming & Troubleshooting

    + Program, test, and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal control system performance.

    + Implement and refine control strategies to enhance plant efficiency.

    •️ Maintenance & Reliability

    + Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for motors and electrical equipment.

    + Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

    •️ Operational Efficiency

    + Monitor plant operations and identify opportunities for process improvements.

    + Ensure safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems and components.

    • Team Collaboration

    + Work closely with the Relay group to maintain and troubleshoot breakers and relays.

    + Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical protection systems.

    • Control Systems Support

    + Provide backup support for control systems, including turbine startups and plant operations.

    + Respond to emergencies with effective troubleshooting and resolution.

    • Coordination & Training

    + Collaborate with station personnel to align engineering activities with operational goals.

    + Provide technical support and training to plant staff as needed.

    Qualifications:

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial or plant-based electrical engineering role.

    + Proven expertise in PLC programming and troubleshooting.

    + Strong knowledge of motors, electrical systems, and control systems.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

    + Experience with relay protection systems.

    + Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
