    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated Software Integration & Test Engineer to support a Navy-based IRAD effort. This role focuses on the integration and testing of a cutting-edge cloud architecture leveraging containerized technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in container orchestration, Linux environments, and C++ development, with a passion for building and validating robust, scalable systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and execute integration and test efforts for a cloud-native architecture supporting Navy systems.

    + Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports based on decomposed system requirements.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized applications and orchestration platforms.

    + Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

    + Conduct performance and reliability testing of containerized services in a Linux-based environment.

    + Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

    + 3+ years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes containers.

    + Experience writing and executing test plans and procedures.

    + Experience working in Linux environments.

    + Experience developing or debugging in C++.

    + Experience working with Agile development methodologies.

    + Eligible for a US Secret Clearance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience decomposing high-level requirements into testable components.

    + Experience with Navy or DoD systems and environments.

    + Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

    + Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or on-prem equivalents).

    Join a dynamic team at a 1500+ person site in Manassas, VA, recognized as a Center of Excellence for Submarine Electronics and Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems. All work will be performed onsite.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $57.70 - $65.00/hr.
