We are looking for a Production Maintenance Coordinator to join our Catalyst team in Vidalia.

BASF’s Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalyst technologies. The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services.

As the Production Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing production leadership and oversight for the execution of the maintenance strategies for the site, as well as owner of the Management of Change (MOC) database, and the backfill for the Logistics Coordinator and/or Area Supervisor. This involves serving as the liaison between Maintenance and Production teams to facilitate the maintenance work execution processes for routine, emergency, break-in, and shutdown work, including priority setting, scheduling and backlog management. Additionally, this position validates quality and execution efficiency.

As a Production Maintenance Coordinator, you create chemistry by...

+ Leading the plant in safe and high-quality execution of production objectives.

+ Convert notifications to work orders for planning by Maintenance. Group notifications together that can be planned and worked as a single job.Ensure jobs with highest priorities are planned appropriately.

+ Review, validate and document break-in work. Manage requirements for breaking the Maintenance work schedule. Ensure Maintenance schedules meet the needs of the production units.

+ Scheduling product containers, balancing finished goods across multiple warehouses, managing loading/shipping schedules.

If you...

+ Leverage your manufacturing and/or operational experience with 5 years in production role.

+ Demonstrate your technical competencies, you will review work notification backlog, verify accuracy, completeness, and priority (or date wanted). Evaluate work requests for Management of Change (MOC) items. Ensure troubleshooting by Production prior to Maintenance involvement. Validate scope and justification.

+ Are keen attention to detail will ensure compliance of the assets with internal and external rules and regulations (e.g. mechanical integrity, inspections, etc.) via adherence to scheduling requirements or seeking approval for extensions

+ Have robust computer and SAP skills as the backfill for the Logistics Coordinator.
