    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a vital role in our production processes. You will be responsible for handling bags of product, reading ingredient lists, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production lines.     Responsibilities

    + Read ingredients and count the number of bags on a pallet.

    + Place scoops in cans, jars, or buckets and secure lids.

    + Stack bags and cans of product as they come off the production lines.

    + Bag and dump product into appropriate equipment on the production lines.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to handle bags of product weighing 1-50 lbs frequently

    + General production and lifting skills.

    + Experience in bagging, quality control, and production processes.

    + General labor skills, including machine operation and packaging.

    + Ability to inspect and pack products efficiently.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in machine operating and loading.

    + Attention to detail in inspection and packing.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a food production facility where food particles may float in certain areas. Safety PPE is mandatory, including a safety hat, hair net, glasses, jacket, pants, and steel-toed shoes. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, with options for 1st shift from 5:45am to 4:15pm or 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 4:00am. A $2 differential is offered for 2nd shift workers.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomah, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.45 - $20.45/hr.
