Are you a skilled problem-solver with a passion for keeping facilities running smoothly? We're looking for a **Facilities Maintenance Technician** to join our team! This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure our facility operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform routine inspections and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
+ Conduct general maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repairs, plumbing fixes, and lighting replacements.
+ Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and maintain facility cleanliness.
+ Assist with event setups and cart placements for departments such as Marketing and Local Leasing.
+ Adhere to safety regulations, policies, and industry standards to create a secure working environment.
+ Schedule and execute preventive maintenance programs as directed.
+ Maintain inventory records, tools, equipment, and safety documentation.
+ Inspect and service air handling units, including belt and filter replacements and lubrication tasks.
+ Handle exterior maintenance duties such as sidewalk sweeping, steam cleaning, and trash disposal.
Qualifications & Skills
+ **Experience:** 2-3 years in building maintenance, with expertise in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
+ **Technical Skills:** Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
+ **Hands-On Abilities:** Strong proficiency in painting, electrical work, plumbing, and drywall repairs.
+ **Problem-Solving:** Capable of diagnosing and resolving equipment issues efficiently.
+ **Safety Knowledge:** Understanding of basic electrical systems, fire protection hydraulics, and alarm systems.
+ **Communication:** Ability to effectively present information to management, tenants, and external contacts.
+ **Independence:** A self-starter who can manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Work Environment
This role operates within a **corporate headquarters setting** , where tenant satisfaction and customer service are top priorities. Expect a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere, particularly during peak hours, requiring patience and adaptability.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
