Job Title: Concrete Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Foreman to oversee crews of 3-4 laborers, manage ordering concrete, and schedule daily tasks. The role requires effective communication with local inspectors and performing general construction labor from project start to finish. The ideal candidate will quickly learn and assist in all facets of the project, operate various construction and concrete tools, handle materials, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee crews of 3-4 laborers

+ Order concrete and schedule daily tasks for crews

+ Communicate with local inspectors

+ Perform general construction labor from project start to finish

+ Quickly learn and assist in all facets of the project

+ Operate various construction and concrete tools and handle materials

+ Lift, carry, or pull up to 50 pounds or more of material

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year experience as a concrete foreman

+ Proficiency in concrete finishing, carpentry, and general construction

+ Experience with hand and power tools

+ Ability to lift 50 pounds

+ Ability to read a tape measure

+ Strong general labor skills

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Valid driver’s license and good driving record

+ Pre-hire drug screen

+ Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions

+ Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments

+ Dedicated and reliable work ethic

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Environment

The work hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. We strive to maintain a 50-hour work week. The team consists of 4 crews of 4 laborers, totaling 16-20 field employees. The foremen are experienced construction workers, and candidates must be able to work effectively in a demanding environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
