Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to ensure that all manufactured components meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for precision and reliability in the custom screw machining industry.
Responsibilities
+ Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
+ Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product compliance.
+ Complete and maintain in-process quality reports and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
+ Collaborate with machinists and production staff to identify and resolve quality issues in real time.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and participating in inspections.
+ Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and ensure all tools are calibrated and functioning properly.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in quality assurance and inspection.
+ Proficient use of measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
+ Strong attention to detail and independent work capability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in quality or manufacturing is a plus.
+ 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment, preferably in quality assurance.
+ Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
