Building Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team and manage the upkeep of a property in West St Paul. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of residents through effective maintenance and repair work.
Responsibilities
+ Respond to maintenance requests from residents promptly and efficiently.
+ Troubleshoot and repair issues with sinks, toilets, lightbulbs, HVAC systems, and more.
+ Perform preventative maintenance duties throughout the building to ensure its optimal condition.
+ Maintain the apartment pool to meet safety and cleanliness standards.
+ Prepare vacant units for new residents through effective changeovers.
+ Carry out various duties as needed to maintain and enhance the building's value.
+ Be available for on-call duties once every 7-8 weeks.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in facilities maintenance and use of hand and power tools.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance technician tasks.
+ Knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, mechanical, hydraulics, electrical work, and painting.
+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance and facility maintenance.
+ Experience with boiler systems and cleaning facilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in building maintenance and apartment maintenance.
+ Skills in repair, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyman work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $60320.00/yr.
