    Batcher - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Batcher in a dynamic production environment that specializes in food products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, including boxing, stacking, loading, unloading, palletizing, and wrapping products.

    Responsibilities

    + Work on production lines, boxing and stacking food products.

    + Load and unload products into the machine.

    + Palletize and wrap finished products.

    + Handle boxes weighing between 15-20 pounds.

    + Open boxes with empty glass bottles and feed them into the production machine.

    + Ensure cleanliness of the work area throughout the day.

    + Follow all GMP practices.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift 15-20 pounds.

    + Comfortable standing for shifts ranging from 10-12 hours.

    + Ability to work effectively on a high-speed production line.

    + Strong teamwork skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in warehouse, production, and general labor roles is beneficial.

    + Familiarity with production line operations, pallet jack usage, packing, and palletizing.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a production setting that is cold in winter and warm in summer, with exposure to machines that emit heat. The environment includes strong smells from garlic, jalapenos, salsa, and taco sauce. Be prepared to stand for long hours on shifts of 10-12 hours. Safety gear such as gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses is provided, while steel-toed boots are required. Wear royal blue shirts supplied by Aerotek. Collaborate with a diverse team speaking languages like Spanish and Haitian Creole, and store belongings in lockers provided. Enjoy a break room with microwaves and vending machines for meals.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.
