    Job Title: HVAC Install Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as an HVAC Install Technician, where you will be responsible for installing copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering, as well as flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial buildings. You will work collaboratively with other installers to remove old equipment and install new systems, ensuring all necessary paperwork for each job is accurately completed.

    Responsibilities

    + Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.

    + Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial buildings.

    + Load and unload materials efficiently.

    + Collaborate with team members to remove old equipment and install new equipment.

    + Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork for each job.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 1 year of commercial/residential HVAC field experience.

    + Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

    + Clean driver's license and ability to use ladders for roof access.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + EPA Universal certification.

    + OSHA 10 certification.

    + Strong troubleshooting, repair, mechanical, and electrical skills.

    + Excellent customer service skills.

    + Ability to follow safety rules and requirements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

    Work Environment

     

    As a technician, you will be working throughout Western New York to service commercial and industrial HVAC units, primarily in retail, supermarkets, and convenience stores. The shift times are from 8 AM to 4 PM, providing a consistent and predictable work schedule.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Seneca, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
