Job Title: Plumber - Journeyman

Job Description

We are seeking experienced plumbers to work in a heavy commercial setting. Candidates should have commercial or industrial experience, with a focus on journeyman and foreman roles. Proficiency in underground to rough-in skills is required, along with experience in EVC, cast iron, and copper installations. The ability to read and fully understand blueprints is essential. Experience with mechanical rooms, including equipment connection such as boilers, chillers, and pumps, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

+ Work in heavy commercial settings with a focus on journeyman and foreman roles.

+ Utilize underground and rough-in skills with proficiency in EVC, cast iron, and copper.

+ Install and layout plumbing systems, including brazing and soldering.

+ Read and fully understand blueprints for project execution.

+ Connect equipment in mechanical rooms, such as boilers, chillers, and pumps.

+ Bring personal hand tools to the job site; additional tools provided if necessary.

+ Attend project-specific orientation at each job site.

+ Meet at designated job sites across Denver, the person, and Boulder.

Essential Skills

+ Commercial or industrial plumbing experience

+ Journeyman's license for journeyman candidates

+ Proficiency in EVC, cast iron, and copper installations

+ Blueprint reading and understanding

+ Experience with hand and power tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanical room experience is a plus

+ Experience with equipment connections such as boilers, chillers, and pumps

+ Layout experience is a significant advantage

Work Environment

Work will be conducted in heavy commercial buildings. The schedule is from 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and occasional Saturday work. Candidates should wear steel-toed boots and, if possible, bring a hard hat and vest. These will be provided if unavailable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Broomfield, Colorado, but will be working in the Denver metro area

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
