    Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Dietitian to join our team. The Dietitian will be responsible for providing expert advice to facility staff to establish and maintain systems that are effective and efficient to operate the dietary department. Provide food service to residents in a cost effective, efficient manner that safely meets the residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Apply now!

    Responsibilities:

    + Assesses and documents the nutritional need of each resident upon admission, annually and on change of condition.

    + May serves as Attached Supervisor for administrative dietary department personnel. Participates and/or assists as necessary in team interviews, employee performance reviews, disciplinary conferences and exit interviews as needed in a timely fashion.

    + Review care plan notes quarterly or as needed to assess if dietary goals are being met.

    + May assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

    + Reviews lab reports and makes any necessary changes in meal patterns, nourishments, etc.

    Qualifications:

    + Completion of a Bachelors degree with major studies in food and nutritional or institutional management from an accredited college or university.

    + Must by licensed as a certified Dietitian or license eligible. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

    + Experience in long term care preferred, but not required.
