Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 3 years of experience with systems automation, and with systems design and implementation.

+ 3 years of experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting).

+ Experience with Linux system administration.

+ Experience with Cloud platforms and technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

+ 3 years of experience working with vendors or customers.

+ Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Participate in on-call activities and manage the systems within the domain and work with the primary responders to help fix system issues.

+ Troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate technical data, and develop recommendations for systems and services within the domain, respond to tickets/bugs within team-defined service-level objectives (SLOs), and contribute to systems and services in related domains through bug reports and consultation.

+ Work with customers on defining distributed systems requirements, test procedures, and propose solutions.

+ Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation. Evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.

+ Improve operations work and reduce support toil by proposing and implementing automation and process improvements.
