THE POSITION
Do you have experience effectively overseeing processes and ensuring timely completion of work? If so, consider joining the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) in this exciting opportunity as a LCB Licensing Supervisor in the Bureau of Licensing, Licensing Systems and Program Management Division. This position allows you to to utilize your specialized skill set as you supervise the Operations, Statistics, and Compliance Section of the PLCB. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will ensure section accuracy in the examination and determination of legal documents such as agreements of sale, partnership agreements, leases, court orders, franchise agreements, IRS seizures, bankruptcy orders, and management agreements. A working knowledge of the Bureau's Licensing POSSE system and its impact on work processes performed within the Bureau of Licensing, Pennsylvania State Police, Administrative Law Judge, and Departments of Revenue and Labor and Industry will be essential for this position. Strong management and communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of the Liquor Code, Title 40 PA Code, Board policy and case law, management, legal procedures, as well as disciplinary and grievance procedures will enable you to efficiently and effectively complete day-to-day work processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 4 days per week. You will be required to report to the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg one day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
+ Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees may be negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year of experience as an LCB Licensing Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
+ Six years of technical experience interpreting and applying statutes, program policies, or industry regulations;
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:
+ You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
